Not an 'Arsenal' fan mentality, just a fact based on stats and all, winning 14 games in a row is just highly highly unlikely.

But how funny it is going to be if you end the season trophy less, and we win the cup, :D all your snide comments on Arsenal to come back and bite you on the ass, then we will see who was dreaming :D.

Be funny when you win the FA Cup but Everton get 4th and Wenger declares it's like losing a trophy and quits <ok>

That's alright lad, we're all happy about potentially being back in the CL next season, and then adding to our squad to mount more challenges in the future. If you win the FA cup then fair play, but we're not worried about what you do as long as we're reaching our targets. I'm certain you were one of the people at the start of the season predicting we'll finish sixth so I guess the "ass biting" will go both ways.

Nah, will be more funny when you end up not winning the league for God knows how many years in a row now, 25? #biggestclubinenglandlol

Nope, if you read the Arsenal board, I was one of the only ones constantly saying you're title challengers. In fact from last year, when you signed Sturridge, I was saying Liverpool would be title contenders and there was huge potential in Sturridge and Suarez, plus Gerrard, and this was way back when you were just mid-table struggling to break into the top 4.

So I've called Liverpool's recent success.

  6. My snide comments? I think you forgetting my previous comment to you about preferring to finish fourth and win the FA Cup than finish third. However, given the choice at the start of the season of having a "in your favour" chance of winning the FA Cup or a outside chance of the league, I'd choose the latter despite it being more likely we end up potless.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion it will be funny considering majority hoped for us to challenge for fourth?

I think it will be funny cause of all the **** some L'pool supporters have chatted. :D. You'd think that you guys have been winning major trophies left, right, and centre since our trophy drought.

But even if you win it, I can live with it, a team like Liverpool is owed a league title, Liverpool are too big a club to go 24 years without a league success.

  8. Fair enough but you can apply the same logic to every single team in the universe <ok>

As long as Chelsea don't win it, I'm happy.

  10. Can't argue with that, only time I would want them to win it is if Man Utd are the only other option <laugh>

Well that option will not be happening in a very very long time, there's going to be a point were we all feel sorry for United and will be happy to see them winning the Capital One Cup.

Arsenal won 14 games in a row! As long as we keep our two strikers fit then I don't see any reason why we can't win another 7 games!!

Records are there to be broken!!

NEVER, even when I know what result would help us best I just can't go along with it. I wanted City to get 15 goals. :D

Couldn't bring myself to cheer them either. Maybe if it was the last day of the season and them winning would clinch the title for us...............

We're not going to win 7 in a row starting tomorrow because we've won 7 already in a row already. Logic lacking there. Had this discussion earlier this week (with Gerrez maybe?) but where you are currently in your streak and what you've won already is irrelevant to what's to yet come. Ie, we're at the start of needing to win 7 games. Flip a coin and land on heads 20 times. Is the 21st time any less probable to be a heads?

This 'unlikely to win 14' is just nonsense. You can only look to your next game, and you've as much chance of winning it as any other previous so long as you prepare and give it your best.

That said, I don't see us doing it, but only because we need to beat City, Chavs and Spuds. All tough games and pressure is now building after today's results.
