No it's not irrelevant to us and those harping on that its irrelevant need to smell the coffee. Spurs have done some bloody good business this summer and have strengthened to the point that I fail to see how we will finish above them over the next 3-5 years. But of course 'Oh but they might not gel!'

Paulinho looks a player. A proper box to box midfielder than can defend and attack. Soldado is what they've been missing, a top class CF, although how many of his best years they get is debatable given he's already 29.

Eriksen will be interesting, just seems like so many clubs didn't fancy him and you have to wonder why, although might turn out like Coutinho and be an absolute steal. Still think they need decent full backs, Walker/Rose/Ekotto aren't great.

The four you mention (including Lamela that is) are the ones that catch my eye too, however I'd take Capoue too, don't know too much about the other two signings that they've signed so can't comment about them.

As much as Suarez is a great footballer, I'd much rather we move him on for £80m odd quid, providing we spend the money properly like spurs have.

Ha ha ha ha: commentator actually just said:

"Centre backs trying their luck with benders all night"

Followed up with: "heh heh; right on his head eh?"

    GET INVLOLVED
Katie Waring: Surprised to see Terry on. Usually he just rocks up to the trophy presentation.

Dov Tate: It's a bit early to bring on the designated trophy lifter...

Why is it whenever Bayern play against the Chav's their players couldn't hit a barn door. The amount of shots the Germans must have had is ridiculous, its almost like watching us.

Edit: Well that Barn door must have opened
