Not quite sure where he gets this from, looking at the Wigan team and subs today there were no United players among them.

We were reportedly after him and Fergie threw the Glazers money down the drain just to prevent us signing the kid.

Yep, played and scored but he had no involvement with the Wigan team today (he could be injured though).

4 FA Cup games plus 4 other Prem games

  10. It was obviously a piss take <doh>

Going for the more serious option then; thought it was league only? That would mean half the teams.

    Sure it was... #backtracking

And no, FA cup was included otherwise Hull & Arsenal players wouldn't have made it.

Winning goalscorers in team of the week (Garth's easy choices):
    Arteta (pen)
    Eto'o
    Hazard (pen)
    Caulker (2)
    Jones
    Rooney

So the remaining players in the team of the week (and his actual reasons) are:
    Cech (random dart throw)
    Shaw (hype)
Smalling (sat near him on train)
Rosenior (token player from smaller team)
    Carrick (poor man's Gerrard)

I thought it was supposed to be Premier League Team of the Week.
But it is Garth Crooks- he probably can't even get that right.
I don't think he even watches the games tbh. Probably some spotty apprentice hack writes it out for him.

  15. TBF, if you or I were writing stuff on his behalf we'd make him look even more of a tool too <laugh>

well i am hoping everton and spurs can get their act together so utd miss out, sadly (well not that sad lol) i think it will be everton.

  18. I'm going to avoid saying the obvious thing and go for Spurs as I think that would be the funniest outcome. By selling bale they will have gone from CL challengers to completely out of Europe despite spending well over £100m on players in the summer. Add to that that a lot of Man Utd fans are saying they'd rather be out of Europe than qualify for the Europa League too.
