guessing brendan hasn't been asked about this in an interview yet, be interesting to see if he does (see if the media has the balls to bring it up), and how the fa respond.

 

If he's not going to make an official complaint, then just blackening the ref's name through hearsay is surely something the FA could charge him for?

 

I agree saint, but if you look at the way his old man dealt with referees you'll see the similarities eg: "the referee isn't fit" etc, doesn't say it over the phone to the FA or the Referees Association he says it on TV and to the hacks.

So Adam has been charged over "stamping" on Giroud. To me that certainly doesn't look deliberate, he was running and didn't change direction or even look at Giroud on the floor. How they can call that deliberate and possibly give him a 3 match ban is ridiculous.

So Baines is going to be "rested" for the England game tomorrow apparently. Well why the **** call him up if you have no intention of playing him?

Surely at this point in time you need to be preparing for the WC by playing what you perceive as your best team and seeing if they all click into gear, rather than leaving players out playing a mix of fringe players and then getting to the tournament and stick out a team which has never played with each other?

Roy says that 1 bad game from an established player won't mean you aren't included in WC squad, and 1 good performance from a fringe player tomorrow doesn't mean you will be. Well why in that case bother playing the fringe players? If they perform well it makes no difference judging by that comment?

I think people think the internet/newspapers have a greater influence than they actually do. Roy prob doesn't give a rats ass what the people think, well he shouldn't anyway.

 

Those petition organisers are m(o)rons. They have guaranteed a wasted seat on the plane. Cleverley would get nowhere near the squad without this attention. He barely starts for a midtable team as it is.
