McCunty has admitted defeat at least. Looking forward to tonight's MOTD.

Carrick was saying much the same in an interview I heard on the radio, couldn't believe what I was hearing. Inept and delusional. Listening to the 606 phone in earlier and the main concern for Utd fans now is that Gollum is some kind of specialist budget manager employed because their owners don't want to risk destroying the lovely cobwebs that have been left on their coffers.

Spot on mate, but watching them wither is brilliantly funny especially with the added delusion from Moyes that the fans are behind him, he should worry if he looks over his shoulder and sees one.<ok>

Totally. Most of their plastics don't know what disappointment or defeat feel like, nor do they know how to process or handle it, all they've known is success. Now that club is the victim of it's own, blinkered, success. One fan on 606, season ticket holder, was from Oxford and drove up for every game, they'll be lucky to hang on to them now that the brand is going down the ****ter. To be fair I know a couple who are actually reasonable and accepting of the trouble they're in, i.e. it could be a couple of seasons before they're even looking at top 4 again, never mind a title. This is backs against the walls lads, next you're gonna find out about 'transition'. Enjoy.

*Going back to that BBC article, I love how McUtd now includes 'the top 8'. Unbelievable. Meaningless. Any other team get that you think? We all know the answer.

  7. Who was Eto'o having a pop at after scoring the first?

    I thought Torres?

Torres has been getting the nod ahead of him, but I can't think who else it could be.

  9. Thats who I thought of but, if true, its not Torres' fault though so why have a go at him?

Maybe he was just being an overpaid, arrogant prick who felt he needed to say, "yeah, look at me" to no one in particular because he scored?

Well, not as satisfying watching that back on telly as being sat in the bar surrounded by Utd fans making various disappointed noises or with their heads in their hands. <laugh>

Adebayor's 'military salute' wins it today.

Could be, or maybe he doesn't get on to good with a teamate or trainer.

Did anyone see Eto's celebration where he was dancing with Luiz and Willian, when Oscar and somebody else tried to get involved they kind of closed the dance circle off so they sloped away. <laugh>

Might be a Mourhino tactic to have them at eachothers throats.

    Glad they stepped up <ok>

Poor old Woy, I mean Moyes.

God I wish we had beaten Villa.

The League at the top has shaped up now I think.

Arsenal, City and Chelsea battling for the title, with Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and United fighting for fourth.

    You can see the gap.
