The 7th best team in the PL beating the 13th best team in the PL at home is not just the top Man Utd story and the top PL story but the top story in world football according to the BBC <doh>

Sky Sports' first article is about RVP being out for another 6 weeks, the second is about Allardyce, then Solskjaer, then Barkley's injury, then Carroll's return, then 4 articles about possible transfers...

The Guardian have the result on the front page, but just the result not the McCunty-style editorial, and it shares the page with all other recent results, such as Sheffield Wednesday 6-0 Leeds.

The Daily Mail lead with Moyes' struggle to attract top talent and other transfer gossip.

It doesn't make the front page of The Telegraph except in the list of time-ordered match reports.

Only BBC Salford deem Utd worth of more than a match report, actually having two different pro-Utd headlines about it "Man Utd return to winning ways" and "Moyes expects Man Utd improvement".

The Man Utd bias of bbc.co.uk/football has been evident for a long time so your instinct to be contrary just makes you look even more #bitter than usual <cheers>

your defending utd as though they don't get preferential treatment from bbc SALFORD for a start, and you are on here all the time going on about Suarez as though he is the anti christ and deserves everything he gets even though its a joke.

guess we will see after the game later what your opinions are wont we, be a lot of rival fans loitering no doubt ready to pounce like flies on ****e if we dont get a good result.

    Left? Not with you?

I actually said that the supposed beeb bias as perceived by kopites is hilarious.....especially when you consider that most of their pundits are in fact........kopites.

The idea that because today United have a headline on their site that this somehow defines the supposed blatant bias is purile nonsense.
So that's not me defending United son, it's me challenging a daft comment

As for Suarez I've always said what everyone says about him, great player, horrible snide (on the pitch) what of it?

It's a multi club football forum, so of course there'll be people taking the piss when you get beat, but show me where I did when you lost 2 games over Christmas? Again, in your own time...........

We specifically mention the website not all of the BBC, and the chief football writer in particular. And a comparison with other sites proves it to be the case.

Lol, nice attempt at moving the goalposts, as your paper thin argument has been shredded.

The posts referred to BBC Salford, not just the website, so pipe down.

Ahhhh McNulty is the chief football writer & he's not a kopite, it's not fair <wah>

Never mind the fact that the nation has had to endure the likes of Green, Lawro & Hansen for a generation.

The reason United get more column inches than any other club is down to their size, like it or not, that's the top & bottom of it. Plus at present their situation makes them even more news worthy, as a defeat for Moyes yesterday would made even more question his position.

But Utd's win only actually gets more column inches on the BBC. As proven. With 2 different pro-Utd headlines. Other websites are either neutral match reports or the far more pressing matters of RVP massively injured or refusing to play, no transfer window support, senior players doubting Moyes etc., all of which are more important than a home win against an injury-ravaged Swansea and all of which the BBC ignores.

You're talking utter crap lad. Both Sky & ESPN are leading with United based stories this morning. You're just applying your own subjective ( & extremely bitter ) opinion as to whether YOU consider the content to be of a positive nature, you take that perceived positive & conclude that its blatant bias. It's childish beyond belief

    Yes, Sky are leading with

    and ESPN with

The absence of one of their most important players is only mentioned by the BBC in passing after 12 paragraphs, hidden inside this compliment about Januzaj:

Let's be honest, the press are only 2 losses away from declaring United doomed and they would be right. There's truly nothing to fear in their side and despite their win there was little in their performance to show that they are likely to improve significantly.

The battle to avoid relegation, the triumph of lower league clubs in the FA Cup, the great job done by Everton's new manager etc are all more newsworthy than "Rooney to get some warm weather training", Moyes "I talk to Sir Alex", "Sir Alex left the stadium of light clutching a bottle of red wine" etc etc.<laugh>

Even those that are on the wagon this month can see that, cant they tobes?
