Lol remember playing hockey in hail like that. Took two days to get feeling back in my hands. Bust open my knuckle and didnt notice.

Had to pick pints up with both hands afterwards.

I played football in rain like that once. Our striker took it round four defenders and then scored with a robona chip. The goal was so good that the ref, who was an opposition sub, sprinted and did a massive knee slide through the mud to celebrate with us.

Matt in Telford: Good draw for Man United. Presuming the final is the expected derby, it may allow them to get into Europe next season.

    the draw was already made

Utd play west ham in the semi.

Over two legs i'll not be shocked if utd take their eye off the ball here.

do city still have a utd hoodoo? do they hate them enough to want to trash them in this?

    we'll see.

week of 6th january sees this tie and it'll be on the end of a hard festive period won;t it... plus fa cup... I hope city trash them in the final.

Good draw for Utd, no chance of beating City over 2 legs with their home form, but a single "away" final is still mathematically possible for Moyes
