Moyes was always a crap manager. Now he's traded away his last shred of decency for a community shield.

The difference is Fergie knew the right amount of cash that was required to bribe the refs, Moyes just isn't offering the right amount of cash atm.

United have needed a new midfield for years, something I've always stood by. Their usual response has been, "blah blah champions so can't be that bad". It's really starting to show now though, god knows how they'll cope in Europe with Fellaini (long been on record saying I don't rate that dirty twat), Cleverly and Carrick.

World class strikers and some good quality wide options, but awful in the centre and aging or **** at the back.

Moyes has a lot of work to do as he can't pull performances out of his arse (or the ref) as Fergie once did. If he stopped whinging at the 4th official (who can't do anything anyway) and concentrated on the game, that might be a useful start...

They were also 28points ahead of us and the champions not so long ago...that's quite a drop.

Plus the difference between how we're playing and how they are playing is huge. Let's all be honest they look ****ing terrible under Moyes. Rooney seems to be the only player that's interested.

Whereas, we're actually a good watch and play some lovely fluid stuff at times. They basically look like the old Everton.

Bragging all week on their board that they are going to catch us then making zero progress on us also provides vital context to the current discussion.

Like I always say, over the last 4 years every time we have gazed at the table we've been 10-30 points behind Man Utd, labouring in mid-table. Me? I'm just going to enjoy it while we're up there, not sit here looking behind and pondering when we'll drop. Loving it <ok>

Must say it was an enjoyable Sunday in front of the TV - Spurs being demolished and United failing vs the new Stoke.

They say they have a lot of injury problems - but as I look back I think they've always said that - now they've lost whatever edge Fergie gave them.

Arsenal, ManC and Chelsea are our nearest rivals. Feels great to actually say this and imply that United are below us - which they truthfully are for the time being.

Moyes' comments..

“Disappointed," he said. “It was similar to Southampton when we had the game under control with a minute to go and then we conceded from a set piece. We can’t keep dropping two points and we could have played better, but it’s a tough place to come after international duty and I would have taken the result before the game."

Brilliant <laugh>

The Spurs fans must be getting worried now. Soldado getting worse every week, he must be be still in shock that Spurs would fly him over from Spain on a Ryanair flight.

Aye, loving the view from up here to... (no nose bleed yet).
Next three games are vital (cliché alert), no disrespect to the teams we're going to play, but we need 9/9 points from these games, because the games afterwards aren't going to be easy!
