I think we just need to concentrate on each game as it comes until January then go from there. If we are still in or around the top four then we have a good shout. I'm convinced we'll go and buy two more "now" players, the only question mark for me is what BR thinks we need. A few of us are convinced we need a DM but I don't think BR does, he doesn't seem to like DM or his CM's to track back as much as I'd like. We still need a wide forward/winger too

 

Gunnersaurus would have been far more appropriate

 

We need someone to rotate with Coutinho imo. A quality attacking mid/forward.

When I look at our squad, its the midfield I see as not quite there.

If we continue with two up front then we need another striker too.

Cheeky punt on Defoe? We should have bought him when we had the chance last year.

 

A quality AM and CM imo.

I'm not so sure about rotating with Coutinho, why not someone to play alongside him? I'm more in line with BR's thinking when it comes to recruiting players; we have two similar players when its a squad game? If a player is missing then we make a slight adjustment and put out the best side we can we what else we have available. Improve the first eleven and the squad will take care of itself.

 

I honestly think wait 'til next Summer and use Suso as that back-up, he's the best thing our acadamy has produced since Gerrard in my opinion, we can't let another talent go to waste!

 

I thought both clubs handled the minute silence very well.

 

I'd rather get Borini back and use the money for a Coutinho and/or Lucas backup. We can play with just one striker as Sturridge showed while Suarez was banned.

 

I see your point, but if we don't invest and don't get fourth then Suarez will go.

That happens then we will have serious trouble attracting anyone.

This year is mega important for us for improving/maintaining our status.

I don't think we can wait for Suso. January is huge for Rodgers.

 

Improve the first eleven and the squad will take care of itself. Why sign a player thats only going to be back-up? We want competition for places, quality over quantity.

 

If Suso is good enough he will raise to the top regardless of who we sign. We shouldn't be pinning our hopes on a unproven teenager.

Borini? Really? Personally I'd sell him and use for fund for a back up as you've said for Coutinho/Lucas.

Think we could do with more option upfront which we would need if Borini wasn't available.
