See Adebayor has gone to spurs for £5mil!?! Now that is cheap. Apparently according to the BBC City are also paying the difference between his current wage around £80k and what he was on at City! Surely if we are going in for Adam Johnson then we should try and get him for a knockdown price of around the same amount, especially if they get Sinclair and he is surplus to requirements.

City seem like they are happy to accept a massive loss on players

  6. Earlier in the week, someone asked for suggestions of possible forwards that would be good for us, I said Adebayor. Looking at this deal, we have missed an absolute steal but suspect he would have still joined Spurs if we had made a move because of last season.

I am going to add that I don't particularly like Adebayor but he is certainly a decent player that gives you something different, IMO he would have been a superb target man up top for us with Suarez, Gerrard and one of Downing, Borini, Sterling or Assaidi playing off him. Ah well...

They aren't our rivals, we're better than that.

Realistically Zingy is bang on ( although I suspect he has his tongue firmly in his cheek). If we re saying we are not going for the title or a CL place and we are not (fingers xed) fighting relegation.

Really hoping WBA can beat Spurs today. Think I might pop over to their board if it happens. Probably wont though. :(

Swansea have a nice kit... Real Madrid-esque. Their away kit last weekend was nice too. <ok>

Swansea look very strong and Laudrup seems to have really hit the ground running, Michu could be the bargain of the season if he continues how he's started. They could certainly be ones to watch out for, though as we all know, things can go pear-shaped very quickly
