    Gary Neville saying that the Europa League has been the reason they have been poor this season - even though they've played cmopletelty different players in all their games? I don't get people saying it's a punishment and playins thursday-sunday has an effect when teams push to play Champ League which is Wednesday-Saturday or Saturday-Tuesday. Surely it's the same difference <doh>

    Agreed <ok> Although there must be something in it, I think we've only won something like 1 out of 9 games on the back of a Europa game this season, or something silly like that.

    Newcastle have been awful so far. Don't think they've put 5 passes together all game - just going long in the hope of winning a flick on ir a free kick. Any free kick from the halfway line goes long into the box and they are making Stoke look like Barcelona.

    and on that note they go and score <laugh>

    Is Shola Ameobi on one of these 10 year contracts that he signed many many years ago? If not, how does he keep getting his contract extended at Newcastle? The guy is pants, hardly plays and has about 40 career goals in god known how many appearences.

    I don't know about anyone else but I never hope for a Tottenham win purely because I can't stand their fans, but tomorrow is one of the rare one-offs. And I liked Swansea last season too! <doh>
