Another good weekend so far for us. Everton dropping points and if Villa can hold on to a draw v Arsenal then a victory for us tomorrow would put us 3 behind Everton and 2 behind Arsenal. With Spurs and West Ham playing each other one of those will drop points meaning we could have 5 clubs within 3 points of 5th place.

If we then go and beat Spurs midweek we could be well in the mix for 5th and depending on other results, close to 4th.

And if Lfc get beat by his ex team tomorrow your manager and Lfc will become even more of a laughing stock.

And if Spurs beat you mid week you will be left behind.

Doesn't look like anyone wants it at the moment. Everton have had a dip in form, Arsenal are still inconsistent and Spurs look like they've turned it round and then go on a mini bad run again. If we beat Spurs on Wednesday then I'll feel confident we can challenge for 5th but defeat there and think we are looking at 7th

If I just woke up from a coma and asked how Liverpool are doing considering our first few games, and some one told me we have only lost 3 and are unbeaten in 8 I would think we were doing incredibly well. Only thing is we are not winning.

By the way, the only games I have missed this season is Reading and Wigan and I missed the 2nd half of the Norwich game. Has the curse returned? <yikes>

Chelsea 1-1 West Ham, so far. Carlton Cole lucky to get away with a foul in the area just before he scored. Torres set Mata up for Chelsea's well worked first. Chelsea fans still cheered Di Matteo on 16 mins, in response to Benitez's first goal in charge. Doesn't look like they've warmed to that particular Spaniard yet. <laugh>

How was that not a foul on Ivanovic. Considering the ref game a free kick to Chelsea for much less in the first half when Nolan then scored, not sure how he couldn't give that.

And now West Ham just scored a second. Oh dear, que Chelsea fans being even more angry with Rafa <laugh>

    3-1...

Wouldn't put it past RA, although not sure what Rafa could do about Cole passng the ball to their player from a ridiculous position.
