You haven't included the cup and European game that Arsenal and Spurs have that are also a priority for them. Ultimately it comes down to this - we will be playing teams that don't want to lose, Spurs will be playing teams that want to win and Arsenal a mixture of both.
Thank you Man U!!!! Arsenal 2 wins in 7, bottling it! We need to shake Spurs off still, hopefully West Ham will help on Wednesday but it really does come down to what we do now. Or more specifically, how we can break down defensive opposition which took us so long yesterday
Spurs against Arsenal will be a humdinger... even if Arsenal fade they do seem to have a tendency for bursting the bubble at Spurs ... the tension at this one will be palpable..
... win all our games an we'll be champions Arsenal will haveto buck up their ideas sharpish. Wouldnt want any of their next 3 away games.
Hopeful scenario this coming week Tuesday: We beat WBA to go 5 clear of Spurs and 8 clear of Arsenal Weds: Arsenal draw with Swansea to be 7 points adrift and Spurs lose to west ham to stay 5 adrift Sat: Arsenal and Spurs draw to be 6 & 4 points adrift respectively before we play Watford Then we beat Watford to go 9 points ahead of Arsenal and 7 ahead of Spurs Wishful thinking I know, but oh how I wish it would happen like that.
Gunna be some tough matches for us next, lets hope Berehinio will be overly relied on tomorrow night and he'll return to his regular dross form. Im sure going to Watford will bring back some hard memories for some of the squad, i hope they can cope with it.
..Kaspar, Wes and Drinky? ... don't think Vardy played .. I'm fairly sure it won't even cross their minds ..
Probably not, but no doubt some journo will mention it, i'd be surprised if Stringer doesn't mention it in the buildup. Probably a good thing that CR is here and will have no idea what they are on about. Far from a bogey ground like London Road though.
.. had a quick look - Schlupp and King played ... Drinky came on very late in the second half ... but if you consider that only 2 of the starting line up that day are likely to start on Saturday (barring injuruies) there really shouldn't be any hangover ... Kaspar would probably have worse nightmares going back to Doncaster
Cope with it? Have you seen the spirit and resolve of this group of players. It's unbelievable. I doubt "that" game will even be given a thought let alone have to "cope with the memories" lol
Drinkwater didnt play. Team that day was Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Keane, Schlupp, Knockaert, James, King, Dyer, Wood, Nugent
Don'y forget Liverpool leading Man City 2-0 so far. If scores stay the same at full time, it is really good for us.
