    So who would you rather

People like Iain Hume, Paul Dickov who gave 100% for the club everytime and cared for the club or people like Yakubu and Beckford who cant give a **** and just here for the money

The reason we are in the **** off the pitch at the minute is because of people like Beckford, Nigel wont put up with their attitudes

Bednar was ****e, and the jury's out on Beckford. But you can't argue with Yakubu's goal record.

EDIT: I found Hume the most frustrating player we have ever had, like you said, he gave his all, but he really wasn't very good. I wasn't sad to see him go, and don't forget he was part of the set up that saw us finish in our worst ever position. Dickov got goals AND worked hard, so was probably the best out of the bunch you mentioned.

Can anyone spot the difference between the DJ Campbell situation and the Jermaine Beckford one because i cant

Both lazy bastards and who dont care or try. Both came here for big fees and was proven at other clubs

Nigel wont put up with them i guarantee it

You cant argue with the Yak's scoring record but Pearson still wouldnt of liked his work rate. I had nothing against Yak's attitude as he didnt seem to have a big ego unlike Beckford. The difference is though the Yak scored goals for us while Beckford isnt

Im not saying you should have a team of 'lazy bastards'.

I think we should have players that do the dirty work for these players as having them in the side can be highly profitable.

I will say this though; only Leicester can have such a fine battling away win and then have fans moaning about the effort of someone who played 15 minutes <doh>

Yakubu was in a team with high quality players playing at full potential whereas Beckford isn't.

I'll judge Beckford when i've seen him play in a 'Nigel Pearson' side during february.

I can't see Beckford leaving either, and I too would like to see him with better support. BUT he does need to pull his socks up and if he doesn't Nigel will lose patience.

And yes, at the minute, Beckford does look like another DJ. But there's time to rectify this.

There is rumours he will and my opinion is he will aswell. This is too much like the DJ Campbell situation and Nigel wont deal with Beckford's ego

Beckford either needs to change alot which i dont think will happen or Nigel will get rid once he can get people in the replace him. Nigel has already bid for Sharp, told Waggy and Howard he has a future. I cant see him getting rid of Schlupp or Nugent

You really think he wants Nugent, Beckford, Sharp, Waghorn, Howard, Schlupp

    Beckford will go

I think that just hit the nail on the head

Beckford will only have future if he sorts himself out. And i dont think he will

I think Howard and Schlupp can go out on loan.

Having 'too' many strikers is hardly a bad thing.

Possibly, because Waggy and Schlupp are still young players who could come good in the future. Right now, we need four quality strikers, Beckford and Howard as impact players and someone to start with Nugent.

EDIT: Isn't it nice - Leicester fans discussing Leicester issues, without a WUM in sight¬! I wish we could win every week!

Nugent has to start because he is our best striker, Sharp isnt going to come to sit on the bench, Beckford's ego wont let him sit on the bench long before he throws a strop

I am not doubting his ability as he is a very good player no doubt and i do think if he did have the service he would score goals but i dont want people at the club who dont try and and dont care.

His effort and attitude arent good enough for my liking. And i dont think Pearson will put up with it either

Well, if it's his ego thats a problem and not getting on the bench is fuelling that AND he doesn't do anything about it then yes, let him leave.

But at the moment he has Nigel's backing and he'll continue to have mine as long as he's a Leicester player.

Everytime he goes on the pitch i back him and want him to do well but his attitude and effort has made it hard for people to take to him, Yak scored alot of goals very early on which made it easier for people to warm to him

It sounded to me that Danns and Abe started well but they were barely mentioned in the second half. King sounded decent.

The midfield isn't good enough, whether that's Wellens, Danns, Abe and judging by his overall season King too. A holding player and a creative centre mid as well as 2 wingers are necessary.

We shouldn't get carried away, we scraped a good win and we need to build on it. The squad still needs improving though, midfield is the big problem.

Iain Hume 100% of not very much is, not very much. Plus he cleared off when he helped get us relegated.

Yak was lazy but scored goals.

    Beckford is lazy and doesn't

Problem is I think if he'd got to another club he might start scoring. Perhaps he's not best suited to Leicester style of play. If it doesn't fit in get him out.

When we sell Beckford he will go and score loads of goals for another club but i dont think he will for us because he doesnt work hard enough. Last season he had Mikel Arteta making chances for him and in League 1 he was just too good. But at this level its all about who works the hardest,

As i said i think this is the DJ Campbell sitation again.
