I am no expert on this subject, I can only go by experience. A friend over here suffered and his doctor sent him to a specialist residential centre for three months where they carried out brain scans, and adjusted his medication after each scan. Eventually he went home and was a new man, until he decided not to take his medication as prescribed. His wife went to do some shopping and returned to find that he had taken his own life. That truly is awful. My youngest son suffers from the same thing and my wife and I dread the day the police coming knocking on our door with unwanted news.
So he should have been one of the lucky ones to be treated and given a decent life. Instead, he created much sorrow by thinking he knew more than the specialists. I feel for both your son, you and your wife BB.
