What a life eh? Such a distinctive voice and always brought such empathy. I count myself lucky to grow up in an era of such great news broadcasting and reporters.

I honestly thought he passed away years ago. I remember him well, growing up in the 1970s. RIP Mr Gall. Another part of my childhood gone and another reminder that we are only immortal for a short period of time.
