I can remember seeing her when she was 16 years old on television and was instantly in love as I thought she was always one of the most beautiful women in the world. I think she was first dated by one of the Shadows (Cliff Richard's band) and I believe it was Bruce Welch but they went their own ways soon after they met. She will be missed by many, especially in my age group, and her legacy will be here forever. R.I.P. My lovely.

We are all getting older and for some the obituaries contain many idols and mentors from their past and so it hits harder when they are in the same age group. At 78 I have lost a massive chunk of memories from my past when my favourites pass on.
And today we've lost Raymond Briggs - Author and illustrator of The Snowman, Father Christmas, When The Wind Blows, Fungus The Bogeyman and more.
