How can it even happen, he was on FF yesterday, no sign of anything but optimism.

Apparently on RTE website that he was found hanging in his home, suicide apparently, what a shock.

He was one of the few professionals who only ever appeared in the papers for footballing reasons. It seems he had everything to live for but no one really knows what's deep down inside.
Experienced this situation with someone very close to me earlier this year but thankfully got her help at the last minute. Still guts you like a knife though and you inevitably blame yourself.
My thoughts are with his family.
