Sad to hear that, one could say he had a good innings......a tough player. My memory is one of standing next to him as a young tit waiting for his autograph, when he was in conversation with another player, and hearing him clearly say “if Charlo comes i’ll Be fugging off!” That remark was concerning a rumour that John Charles signing was a possibility! He went off to Peterborough then I believe! :emoticon-0103-cool:
