I grew up in the village were he was pub landlord at the royal oak,i remember him as a very kind generous man.i went to school with his sons and spent many happy hours playing round back of the pub with them.ahh fond memories. R.I.P DEREK.my thoughts are with your family.sam.
 
Thank you to everyone who has offered their condolences and shared their memories of my Dad. Dad was a truly wonderful man a real Gentleman who will be very much missed by all who knew him.
