You are entitled to your opinions but there is a time and a place, no need for that type of comment here, rightly oir wrongly she was liked by millions or she wouldn't have lasted 50 years on telly.
Her rendition of "What's it all about Alfie" was definitive, Bacharach's favourite of his own songs. Whatever she did after that doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. RIP
I think that was the beginning of the end for her. It left her broken hearted and she was never the same again. Poor Cilla, she was a good person and looked upon by many as a national treasure. Can't say I was a fan personally but she was harmless enough and to claim that she had no talent is harsh. As GC mentioned above, I doubt that Burt Bacarach would've gone near her if she had no talent. As Sir Bruce said, 'she had the common touch, was loved and will be missed by millions.' RIP Cilla
