RIP Ted 
"Ted, the Patterdale Terrier mix, who found fame on BBC’s Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing alongside Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse has died.
Ted was rescued from a dog’s home in Surrey in the Spring of 2013 when he was about six months old and went to live with Lisa Clark, Executive Producer of Gone Fishing.
He made his first appearance on the popular BBC Two show in Series 3 (episode 3) in 2020, quickly becoming a fan favourite and during the Christmas special in Cornwall in 2025 he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ted will appear in one episode for the forthcoming series nine – which will be his final appearance on the show."

My sister passed aged 67 on 4th May following a brave battle that lasted six and a half years.
