If there is only one person in the market for an individual / unique brand (which Suarez is ) then the market value is whatever that one party is willing to pay. Each player has there own individual attributes which make it impossible / hard to say they actually have a 'market value'.
That thread is a whole world of fail. There is no 'market value' for Suarez - in order to have a market which sets a rational value you need either more than one buyer or more than one seller. There is only one seller and, as of right now, there is only one potential buyer. It's a barter, nothing else. I would have thought dave, with all his 'qualifications' and 'knowledge' would realise this, but obviously not. To be fair, he has managed to drag Tobes and mito up the same garden path so it's obviously more complex than it seems. Oh, and no Sisu I'm not going to post my comments on that thread. I have no desire to get dragged into yet more pointless 'debate' with dave on anything thanks

Explained my arse, he intentionally missed a drug test. When the forgetting to ban is almost as much as a conviction ban you sure as **** don't forget.
