Rio's legs went' long before Vidic's and Vidic realised this season he needs to play at a slower pace to stay at the top of his game, so he went to Italy. Rio will struggle now to play at this level but can probably offer a lot on the training ground, maybe he'll be looking at a back-up role at his next club. He's got a lot of other 'projects' on the side nowadays so I can see him being comfortable with a bit part role which will help him get his badges and in return he can help out some of the younger lads.
This. An unbelievably inaccurate headline, here's the interview: http://talksport.com/football/exclusive-ferdinand-would-be-perfect-qpr-claims-redknapp-14060394076
