Thats the biggest insult I've heard yet, Liverpool don't up their game when Man U come to town. If you ask me, United up theirs when they visit anfield due to the childish grudge Ferguson has held against Liverpool since 1980. This was when Bob Paisleys Liverpool kicked 3 shades of crap out of his Aberdeen side. To this day he hasn't got over that. Holding a grudge for 31 years. Rather pathetic if you ask me. It showed when he made that speech in 1986. Liverpool as I said will treat it like every other home game, their sole intention will be to give the opposition a hiding.
I accept that and as fans I understand this means alot more than a game with blackburn would but as players and managers it shouldnt mean anything more than a chance for 3 points. ow they go into this should be the same as they go into every game but KPR was saying they will suddenly play better. if I thought United were playing better by choice in some games and not others I wouldnt be happy.
I never said any such thing. All I said is Kenny will alter his tactics to exploit the weakness in the opposition, thats what good managers do. And the weakness in the Man United side especially away from home is in the centre of midfield.
We do! Its just usually easier to get a result against Man Utd at Anfield, because they don't put 10 men behind the ball unlike most teams who come here, its something we've struggled against for ages, breaking down 10 men, that is.
