How would he improve the team?

He can't pass or shoot, you'd just be running up the wage bill.

Whelan and Wilson aside, since when does Pulis worry about a central midfielder being able to do either of those things? Reo Coker is 20 times better than Rory so he would have been a great improvement.

I personally think he would be miles better than some of our players, but again I woudl rather invest in younger fresher talent.

L, what planet are you on?. Reo-coker would be a cracking addition to the team................. Another one slips through the net.

I don't think he's a significant enough improvement on what we have already.

Everyone on here is crying out for creativity in midfield and now all of a sudden you want Reo-Coker? Doesn't make any sense...

Of course, why would he want to be back up for Etherington when he can play every game for Villa?

McLeish tried to sign him for Brum last season but the deal fell through as they couldn't agree personal terms (we all know what that means), but with Downing and Young gone and £35M in the kitty Villa can afford his wage demands.

You have to say that Villa have done extremely well in getting a fee like that for Stuart Downing!
