It's a complete myth that we'd have gone under without the Ashley loans There were other funding packages available including one from the T3B consortium. All that happened was that Ashley's stooges on the board blocked these offers so that Ashley could get his loans in in exchange for contracts beneficial to fat Mike. Mike does what's best for Mike Ashley and Sports Direct. Dave King is a guy who has invested and lost £20million in Rangers in the past. This is actually putting money into the club as opposed to just lending money to increase your grip on that clubs assets and revenue streams - which is what Mike does. In short, King doesn't expect to make any money out of Rangers. He's a fan who will put money in, compared to Mike who has a stranglehold on our revenue streams and was trying to get his hands on our assets. As I've said before, Ashley's a vampire sucking the lifeblood from the club. As regards the loan players: 3 have been permanently injured and haven't played at all; 1 managed half an hour before going off injured and hasn't played since; 1 has played in all the games but doesn't appear to be any better than what we already have. They're of no use to man nor beast.
