Semi-related. Someone today texted me and told me that Methven is supposedly posting on RTG, misspelling words and all sorts to make himself look inconspicuous.

The guy mentioned a name which I won't in case I offend a real person.

Surely this can't be true?

He's been on there a few years and doesn't always completely misspell .
It swops between normal spelling to atrocious .
He/they also look on here ;)

That's all very interesting but it's just guesswork right ...

... just.checking that you don't actually know anything.
Yeah, I know nothing, just my opinion, as stated.
I don't do any of that Twitter ****e -too old. I did read in one of the reputable daily rags (not the Daily Mail) that the consortium that owns us are looking to get 2 other clubs, in Europe and South America. CM is supposedly playing a big part in this. Possibly bollocks but what do I know?

I reckon minority shareholders have had a big say in the events of the last couple of weeks. KLD listens to Methven, who is heavily involved in plans to acquire a European club and a South American one for the consortium. I bet he turned young Kyril's head and encouraged him to go for Keane, chucking all the plans out the window.

Total guesswork and highly unlikely.
If Methven has anything to do with the club's activities, and it's a big if, it's probably at KLD's invitation and with his remit.
To suggest minority shareholders have had a big say in anything at any time is pure conjecture at best. Something many people don't accept is that the minority shareholders are not on the Board of Directors, and,as such, are extremely limited in having any influence.
There are many numpties over the road who are obsessed with Kildare and his dubious alter ego,if there is one. I've never seen him post anything of any substance ,after deciphering his limited use of the English language, and I fail to see any meaningful contribution he makes to any debate.

He tends to stick to the Pure Football board and defends the chuckle brothers to the hilt whenever they are accused of financial shenanigans. These tend to be the posts with the best use of English too.

Trying to tap into the FEWM about Methven supposedly being in on the interviews but has no sources or actual intel
Minority shareholders of football clubs aren't automatically involved in decisions at the club...

... there's a massive difference between shareholders and board members.

And you can't issue banning orders, on shareholders, over a supporters grudge.

End of non-story <doh>

It's simply that the Echo has seen a vocal section of the fan base having a go and is jumping on the bandwagon. They're out of the loop, and to honest have been for a long while, but this makes then try to appear relevant. They aren't, they have no close contacts inside the club any more (and probably haven't for ages), but by doing this it'll get clicks online for advertising (which is all that matters to them in the end). It's no different to what the Chronicle did for years regarding Ashley.

Technically I could be a shareholder! Wouldn’t mean I interviewed Roy Keane!!
