Football presenter Richard Keys has criticised Harry Redknapp over the manner of his QPR exit earlier this season.
Redknapp was in charge at Loftus Road for the majority of the current campaign but left the R's in early February, resigning without having taken a single away point all season and leaving the west London side firmly in the relegation zone.
the BBC[/a] claiming people wanted him out before he left QPR.
And Keys isn't at all impressed with the manner in which Redknapp has conducted himself in leaving the Loftus Road outfit and now coming out with what he sees as a different story.

So by his own admission 'Arry didn't leave QPR cause of sore knees. Why didn't he tell the truth at the time? No need to answer that.

QPR have continued to struggle since Redknapp's departure but successor Chris Ramsey has taken several points away from home.
Crucially, the R's have built up a head of steam recently and have given themselves every chance of avoiding relegation should they continue to produce the goods.

Whilst I sm sure that this is done for consistency and comparison.

The stats are a bit misleading in that they only profile Harry Redknapp's EPL record.

I think Warnocks promotion season of 2011 may have returned more than a 20% win rate.

Gerry and Warnock are legends, the others are not.

Richard Keys is too unbelievably hairy to have any credibility, you know.

I'd suggest a new strategy R2 - let Richard Keys win.

Thought Sky used to have him sheared once a season, Al-Jazzera have thoughfully offered him access to a corporate Burka. Trouble is they can't get it over his big head.

Please explain why Warnock is a legend?
A manager who promoted us with a system that was destined to fail at a higher lever and set us back further than we already were.
We were falsely promoted and Niel hoodwinked decent paying fans using an un-stastainable system of pandering to a "wanna be" star that never developed to his potential and deserted the club at his first chance
As I asked, please explain why you consider Warnock a legend as I personally believe he did more harm than good for our club.
Facts are, Warnock left no legacy...yet we all remember with fondness and respect Macca. Is he not also considered a legend.?

On another note BushRhino, I have re-read my post and wish to convey the fact that I mean nothing negative on your part,.
I tend to let myself go when I read posts on the subject of Neil Warnock amongst other subjects. Hence the reason I am more active on other sites.
I ask in genuine curiosity and if that is your belief then so be it. As is the draw of this forum,. I respectfully disagree with that view. I understand that this does not make me any more correct than yourself.
    <cheers>

What I'd like to know is why its taken some slow of learning folk four years for the penny to finally drop regarding that Tub of lard when others said we should get rid the moment we won promotion?

Falsely promoted? You're having a laugh.
We were the best side that year by some distance and by the way, that "wanna be" scored 20 and assisted in nearly as many. It is very unlikely that we would have been promoted without him.
The system was 4-2-3-1..............the same as Chelsea and most other Premier League sides.

We were struggling badly when Warnock took over and won the league the next season with record clean sheets and a good number of three and four goal victories.

    Legend.

Colin saved us from relegation to League 1, got us promoted to the PL for the 1st time in 15 years as Champions no less and we played some great thootball, and despite being unable to bring in the players he wanted due no funding at all close season, had got us to 9th in the PL. TF's first major mistake was to sack him. A great Manager. A Legend? Ok. The best Manager we have had since Terry Venables anyway for me. I think we would be a lot better off now if TF had stuck with him and avoided Hughes and Harry.

In total agreement with the above i have always said that getting rid of NW was wrong. He was assured as long as we were not in the bottom 3 come Xmas his job was safe, we were 4th from bottom and was sacked. Ever since then I think we have stayed in the bottom 3 more than being above 4th. Neil Warnock in my eyes is a LEGEND

Getting back to Harry, it seems he is stupidly giving the game away by blaming others. The more he says the more it confirms what a snide tosser he is...

Yes, things have gone down hill for Mr Keys since leaving Sky, sad to see how he's let himself go, it must have been hard on him...

But the point is, he was & is a wanna be. He had one good season for us in the 2nd tier and has done nothing much for us since.

He'll probably remain a wanna be forever, given his attitude.
