Transfer window time, is a big boost for the journos, they can speculate, without ever having to prove that there is any truth in the articles they churn out. Recon they have a swindle going for who can get away with the most outragious unbelievable dross. And yet WE all read what we probably know is crap, and like now discuss. Nowt stranger than folk.

    ok, fair enough.

But I dont see how you can say Ricco "give the ball away all the time". I thought most people would have agreed that this season he has done very well at LB and was improving with every game he played there, and has also done well at LW since MON took over.

I, personally, just never see him offer much as a left back. When played in his preferred centre mid, he panics and gives the ball away.

Since MON has come on board he's been cracking on the left wing though. No doubt about that. I'd be sticking with him there and McClean coming on after about 60 minutes once he's back to full fitness.

I do go overboard when it comes to Ricco. But I have to agree with CH. Against Everton (now I also know that other players were poor) he lost the ball, did a poor control or pass 9 times out of his 10 touches. Please someone if you have the match recorded watch it. At LB he is out of position so many times, in MF, 1 decent fame in 5
