Its a hard one. rhodes will be a great buy for the future and a future lambert hopefully, but hooper is a ready made striker for championship and then premiership. It depends if nigel wants to risk it with rhodes or stay safe with hooper. if he risks it with rhodes and neither him or lee do well then we have wasted an awful lot of moony on two strikers. SO i would probably go for hooper but then again rhodes is a really good player and a nice bloke. (saw an interview after his 5 goals, seemed such a nice person and handled all the questions he was asked really well.) I think that hooper would be goodie this transfer window and the rhodes in the summer, if we get promoted. That would be an awesome front to in 3/4 years time. Rhodes a target man and then hooper getting the knock ons and being more of a poacher.

That's pretty much what I was trying to say, only you put it better. ;)

Rhodes has potential

I think we should get someone experienced. Our academy, youth and reserve players have plenty of potential ;)

Plus Rhodes has scored a lot of goals but in hat tricks. How many games has he scored in? i.e. if he has scored 20 in 40 games but those goals were all in 7 of the 40? Doesn't sound as good then.

I didn't realise until today that Hooper was still so young (23, soon to be 24 at the end of this month).

Hooper is more proven couldnt see how we wouldnt win the league if we get him still not likely to happen though. Rhodes there is no chance of happening all sorts of top clubs interested no way will he be comming here.

Would prefer Hooper, but wouldn't mind Rhodes but there will be other teams sniffing around. In Nigel and Nicola we trust!
