That's a shame. What is the limit for a player like this? I hope we don't keep pushing for this, I think 12 Million is a fair offer. But, if Blackburn have ambitions to get promoted, it could be argued that he is priceless to them. I would call there bluff and leave it there, start looking and bidding on others.

£15 million would be better as a cushion after relegation than a total gamble on Rhodes.

Football is ****ed up... if Liverpool pay £16m for ****ing Balotelli, and we end up paying £15m for Rhodes who is unproven in the prem.... the world has gone mad..

Its only talksport who quote the £12 Million offer has been rejected. Every other report I can find says the bid of £8 Million has been rejected. Are talk sport talking s**te, guessing at figures or do they know something no one else knows? :steam:

If he spends 15 mill on him and he turns out to be a great Championship striker that I think he is...Bruce would live and die by his signing...could cost him his job

If we agree a fee then we have to agree personal terms with the player If you believe what is said, he's on more at Blackburn than some of out top larkers are now.

Could be an expensive deal all in all.

    Not my money though.

Matty Mills, good job Sven wasn't in charge of finances ................... oh hang on a minute. Get ****ed.

We banked £5m profit on habitual low scoring Long. £15m would mean we've shelled out an extra £3m for a potentially greater player than Long.

A player who's continually scored more goals in the Championship than Long did. A player with a potential greater sell on value than we'd ever have got for Long had we held onto him.

A player with the potential to score considerably more than the 7-8 goals we'd get out of Long.

Small price to pay & a solid investment. Of course if we get him for less it would just be another Brucey Bonus.

Now back to world beating Matty Mills.................

You made the excuse that you were pissed last night when posting ****. It appears alcohol makes no difference what-so-ever, it's just a natural trait.

    Well done.

I'd practice your written English before returning to school in a couple of weeks.
