Hales deserves a bit of a chance.. his one day game is good. But he needs to learn to just tick the scoreboard over and stay in playing good shots.

We need to think what to do here. Root at 3 is a call but if we want to be positive and go 4 an over he will come in anyway. The question is about having any other player for it.
Stokes and Ali are down the line a bit so will not come up. Could buttler come in?

Bar 3 guys we should have done more here but i think its petering into a long batting time for lowish runs. I could see us get 400 all out or 500... i really can't tell.

First ODI against Sri Lanka today, England fall apart early, then recover... but need 7 to win off last ball, and Plunkett hits it for 6 to tie the game!
Great chase. Buttler etc at16 down made a game of it.

Watching Kent v Sussex.
Tyrell Mills, ridiculously good. Quickest bowler in circuit and in 20/20 games guy can be unplayable at this level.
Such a shame his back is as ****ed as rhc's and can only do small short spells, as he'd be brilliant for England in Tests.
