I think it's just class from gayle.
If a guys gonna go do that no a lot can stop it.
Their rate would have put on a massive score if over full 20.

The way the NZ spinners are performing makes me worry for England as we lack a true quality spinner at the moment.
Play the Jaffas at 2pm, need a win or will be extremely difficult to qualify.

it is interesting.
bowling at 20/20 level has to be precise to deny easy 4s and 6s. guys actually have to go hard at spin to whack it for 6 so it does make it a bit of a risk.

we've just handed the game to them
South Africa captain Faf du Plessis: "To be honest I wasn't sure [what to do at the toss]. There are benefits to both - the ball swings a little bit later at night but there's dew as well. The IPL experience helps a lot - Indian conditions aren't foreign to us any more. It's a nice-paced wicket so we're playing the extra pace bowler."
England captain Eoin Morgan: "We're going to bowl first. It's been evident the two games we've played here that in the evening the dew kicks in and the ball slides onto the bat a bit better, hopefully it will do the same tonight.
"In the game against West Indies we did things right but we caught Chris Gayle on a night when he was outstanding, and that's hard to stop."
so bascially england surrendered the initivative to get a dewy ball that apparantly is harder to catch and come so nto the ball.
But they then bowl and give SA a potentially world record score to have to chase... nice.

Dropped catch.. Hales missing a dolly stop and letting it go for 4.... BUTLER NOW JUAT LER 2 soft byes go through.... Fielding has been just as bad as the bowling!
