Needed those 2 wickets, was a nice little partnership they were putting on there.

Amla & Edgar both gone.

99-3

Du Plessis goes in the final over, b Finn c Cook.

SA 136-4 at close, 280 needed to win. England need six wickets tomorrow to wrap it up. Doable, surely? Could do with getting de Villiers out soonish if possible though.

Bit of a toking that was.

That was our first overseas test win in 16! Thank god that stats broken.

SA have not had a 100 partnership in the whole of 2015 their worst since the 60's.

<yikes> Wow that really puts things into perspective. I might go a bit easier on our lads when they're struggling now.

Next test starts on Saturday, so only a short Turnaround. Dowe think that gives us an Advantage, i.e. it gives SA little time to sort out their problems, so we can press home and take a 2-0 lead? Or does it give SA a chance to quickly dust themselves down and get revenge?

I obivously hope the former.

Is @Sir Tennisball into cricket at all?

Sa are in disarray and have been in last tests they played.

Their bowling is there but no batting.

I would say England were 7/10 here at most and easily won. England's batting was adequate shall we say from enough players to get the runs and the bowling was well shared out.... pitch helped moeen too

You'd want a big performance next test now to really ram it home. More good batting and if we win toss an innings victory :bandit:

Very harsh that is.

8 given the opponent, our form, and the heaviness of victory.

Is 7 v 8 very harsh?

The opponent has been woeful all year.

Ok we've been mixed at best too and we had no Anderson.

Two guys come in as well.... ok 7.5/10 then
