Test cricket is like ruining an all day bender with a trip to church.

I'd rather paint my fence, than sit through 8 hours of that painful tedium.

Need to bowlers to hit their lines and length, do that and I can't see the Kiwi's getting more than us!

It was a lovely take for the last wicket.

It's treacle in the outfield though so as you say, keep it tight and the mistakes will come, looks like there will be some rain stoppages this afternoon too.
 
Jimmy Anderson!!! Only the 4th Englishman to take 300 test wickets. What a ****ing man. Kiwis on 7 - 2 and reeling. Shove that up your yorkshire ****ter Boycott <ok> That's test cricket for you.
 
They're scoring quickly, which is good really as it might just come down to a one innings contest and as we will get to go first that puts us back in the box seat.

Need to not allow too much of a lead of course but this doesn't look like a high scoring match and the heavy cloud about will help our bowlers. Could be over in four days, weather permitting.

How can that **** be so aggressive on the same pitch? Don't tell me - quality of bowling <laugh>
 
No idea, playing without worry I guess. We did, he's not.

Wickets will fall though if they carry on, they may well pass us but there is not a better second innings batsmen in the world than Cook.

Taylor needs to go as rapidly as possible. I agree with you on Cook. When's Swanny coming on?
 
Taylor won't last long if he keeps play the way he does..
Once he's gone, get the skipper out and they won't have much batting left.
