And if the weather holds for tomorrow then the result most probably will be Test cricket 3 Bazballshit 1

Well we will see but there's not much England can do bar attack the line and hope for some edges

in the end if root and bairstow had have minded their wickets just slightly more they.might have declared with 450 lead and still been in this situation

You can’t deny Stokes and McCullum have brought confidence to the England team, with this bazball style of cricket

The problem is our batters have got out playing their shots irrespective of the situation. This style may have worked against teams not as good as Australia but Australia are world test champions for a reason and they’re going back with the ashes.

The question is what happens going forward? Broad has retired and Anderson can’t be far behind. Jofra
Archer has had injury issues so that would leave our 2 main bowlers as Woakes and Wood. The injury to Leach has shown up our lack of a spinner. Who will the other 2 pace bowlers going to be

We’ve seen how destructive a batter Bairstow can be but a wicket keeper is there for his main role, as a wicket keeper and Bairstow on that front has left a lot to be desired. Ben Foakes is a superior wicket keeper but I don’t know how good a batter he is.

I’m still not convinced of Duckett as an opener, Brook for all his talent is a bit of a headless chicken.

it'll be fine.

they've turned round the situation with players like burns.amd sibley who cant keep their wicket anyway

root, duckett, Crawley, Brook,.Pope (who prob should.be keeper) bairstow, stokes are all fast scorers so that's fine.

really the issue is not bazball, it's the fact that test cricket is fundamentally set up for sides who make least mistakes winning or at least not losing.

England would play a 5 day test in 3 or 3.5 days if they could. To do that they have to give every opponent a big chance to win.

it'd be lovely if they could get 600 runs and bowl sides.out for 300 an innings bit in reality they aremlooming like about 350 being a good score and if someone scores more they win

the grounds keepers in the first two tests delivered very slow flat batting tracks that Australia won.

the pitch has died here right now so they actually needs spin to win

Wood
Woakes
Robinson
Tongue
Archer
Stone

Few injury issues there but some talent.

Jack Carson could be a spinner to watch at Sussex.

england only have the draw to play for now.

raining again and the drop has knocked the stuffing out of them.

146 for australia to win. Is tea time.

If the inspection at 4pm is ok then play will resume giving australia 2 to 3 hours to decide whether winning the game is actually necessary.

England would win this (or lose this) in 1.5hours max. bazball.

Australia win the ashes 2-1 and weather has played some part but england's decision making and fielding over the entire series has been the major talking point.
