Aussies looking keen <whistle>

Should be a really interesting battle. We could easily go score 500 in a day and then be skittles out for 90 the next innings but should be good fun. At least not going into the ashes dreading getting smashed like the last few years

Well in English conditions I don't really rate leach anyway. sure he's been more backed then the former management and that's helped but imo he's well below the standard needed.

I think England's problem is more about fitness and stamina of the main line seamers than worrying about a spin option.

First the batting has to stand up and bazzball has to survive the Australian bowling.

then the bowlers have to take 10 wickets. however that's done in the conditions.

Well, that's down to England failing to develop players. leach himself was underdeveloped and mismanaged by the former management but he is still.miles off a proper test level spinner.

the young lad they brought on tour is too young and unexperienced for this level so imo this will be a seam dominated ashes.

stokes not being able to bowl properly will hurt imo. he will do long term harm to himself trying though.

Anderson is with respect to him a short burst veteran so England will be heavily relying on Robinson

Amazing we’ve managed to win 10/12 tests with a spinner who is ****. Anderson who can only do short burst. Stokes who can’t bowl.

How **** must all the other teams have been

have you seen stokes limping about?

have you seen Anderson effectiveness in first 4 to 6 overs of any spell verses longer spells?

have you noted I said at home this will be a seam dominated tests series. this is England not India or Pakistan where spin dominates.

leach is not a top level spinner. I don't think there's anyone you'll find who would put him in that bracket

England have won scoring at 6 an over which is an entirely different approach to cricket and batting which so far has not been massively caught out.

I sincerely doubt we will see stokes bowling 10 overs in a row and if we do he will be limping round for the rest of test.

I sincerely doubt Anderson can bowl that length either.

so Robinson will be crucial
