Its almost like the old men ran out of steam and the second string were found out......
Right now England need a big batting performance and have really gone flat.
The whole captain thing is about keeping the thing rolling.

Wonder why England keep playing NZ, who are the best test team in the world.
If they want to build up some confidence and blood some youngsters surely playing someone lower in the rankings would be better.
What is going to happen is that NZ will win the series and Stokes will kick off with a loss, the batters will never find form and the less experienced players will have their confidence smashed (over the whole series) and become useless to England in the future. The whole cycle will carry on as before.
Doesn't matter about the Cpt and coach if the system is broken. Its like changing a driver in a car that is missing its wheels.

Id say Nz are winning by a goal but England starting to apply more pressure and look like equalising
You cannot win at cricket or lose til its done. Leads are irrelevant.
