Lol. Steps down ground and whacks leech for 4 over his head..

Next ball rocks back and cuts and is just blocked to save 4.

So.much easier bat at 49. So much easier bat when agressive.
 
england not even saving singles really.

It says it all when a guy walks down the pitch and pads it for lbw but he's so far down umpire gives not out.

if england had even done that much and gone after this they could have scored SOME.

gentlemen do not have "luncheon" past 1pm.

Gven the fact this game started at 2:30pm one can safety say breakfast and lunch were partaken of as was afternoon tea.

I'm rather shocked however they didn't come back out in their dinner jackets to finish off; how uncouth of them to have dinner without being properly attired

Don’t think was all the pitch. But then don’t agree with Kohli that was just bad batting.

They highlight that a lot of the dismissals were from straight ones so wasn’t the pitch. But problem was that you’d get a couple that turn at right angles so you have to play for that and then next ball it just goes straight on.

if every ball is turning thrn at least you can try play for that but inconsistent spin / bounce is always going to be biggest issue.

Any game where Root picks up 5-8 you have to question the pitch

india fully deserved the win but pretty poor advert for test cricket that. Let’s hope England at least pick a team fit for the conditions in 4th test

Lete not make out root is invincible here either. Good run of form yes but nobody is invincible.

England were negative, picked the wrong team and then thrrw wickets away too
 
bullters rest looks genius now. he would have played the combined time of 1 whole test match.

The decisions with alli coming in to play one then **** off and bess being sent home look absolutely ridiculous.

IMO england caved to unhappy broad and anderson last game. ridiculous nods.

but most of all most of them are pussies. ultra defensive. when india only had 40 odd to get they just did what england needed to actually do by coming down the ground. They were do far down they could pad it away or hack at it if they felt like. a ball cannot spin if you smother it.

not so long ago root was getting ball licked for being the greatest batsman in the world. He's been royally targetted by india.

filled his boots v a poor sri lanaka and then had a great first innings in the first game v india. has failed 3 times in a row as india pile on the pressure.

Lets see how bad this pitch is on thier first innings. If england get 200 it'll be good going now, If england had any balls they'd charge the ball and smother spin.
