Moeen winning it for england. Tail exposed... too many runs left with 2 wickets left

Sam Curran and moeen alli... match winners with point to prove.

Game was over once Kohli got out.

Curran looks a great player - another one from Africa ;)

players with a point to prove rather than players wilting under pressure.

England need a 1,2 and 3 batsman.

root wants to play 4.
Barstow 5.
6,7 and 8 all rounders like stokes, butter, Curran alli.
9? whoever is left over from above.
10 and 11 the old fellas

England really struggling to find top batsmen in this era of 20/20 hackers

nah... place of birth doesnt determine much bar what benefits.you can claim

there's a huge population across England from many countries who wouldn't consider themselves.in any way English... rightly or wrongly.

Don't really follow cricket, although I did play in the Cheshire league when I was younger, (make that much younger), is it the same as football when being eligible for a national side.

He's born in England, brought up in England, lived all his life in England, plays for England and considers himself English. So he's English. As is his Younger Brother.
Only reason he's got a funny accent is because his dad was a Zimbabwean exile.

The older Brother is South African-English.

TMS is good, but what about having a tokers TMS? Commentators could wrap one up when the players left the pavilion and go from
there. Tuffers, Beefy, one or two of the West Indians, the Afghans like their pot. You get the picture :emoticon-0176-smoke

There'd be a lot of giggling.

Though tbh I've long suspected that lloydy is on something.

and that's fine. the important line is what does he consider himself?

there's many that would consider what you said about place of birth offensive to them...rightly or wrongly. That's my only point.

cook to retire after this series.

I think he is right to do it.

will make the last test all about him but I reckon he wouldn't have announced if it was still in balance.
