Palace is an odd one. He did jump from there.

Sunderland was different, he went to join England which is why he "jumped" as you say.

So in all of his last 5/6 roles, he's only left 1 from jumping ship.

Fact of the matter is, he still got both of those clubs "overachieving" compared to where they were
He left Palace after a close mate of his lost their child in the Manchester bombing, it hit him hard and he decided to walk away from the game on a spur of the moment decision

unbeaten then....

and he's never binned off a job rather than see it go tits up and hes never.got.done with hand in the till.

oh and he's the man to.wi thinks cos his track.record shows a.proid history there too.

;)

Lets hope he is gone in the summer and takes that fat little **** with him.

Allardyce reportedly/rumoured to have been given a £6m a year 18 month contract, that would put him on more than Zidane (reportedly), so if it's true is he worth that kind of money on such a short contract?
If he saves the blues from the drop £6m would be chicken feed but if the worst scenario happended.:emoticon-0176-smoke

More than Zidane? Wow. English football is crazy.

This is probably the bast place to post this:

I feel as though Fat SACK has been like a guy who's really landed on his feet here. Honest to god this is a job he's no bloody right to.

So far he's already set a real low threshold for self success as top half. Thats for the record 5 points away with a game in hand.... thats bloody EASY.

This is a plum job outside of the top 6 clubs and he's landed in this after ****ing west ham, ****ing up sunderland who were dead men walking. Getting caught rotten in the england job he didn't deserve and then got the luck of walking into palace with them having benteke et al to stay up! he's deserved them too and left them in rag order and now he gets this job!

Think about it:

GK: Pickford. looking really good
RB: Coleman might be back early janaury
LB: baines hangin on there but stilll ok
CBS: williams, jagielka keane. he might be in toruble BUT
DCM: gueye and sneiderlin (If sam gets these interested and doing the job it can screen CM)
ACM: he's got his pick, they are all slow.. but he has options:
wingers: has a couple, needs one.
ST: needs a striker

If everton pony up 50-60mil and they get a winger and striker IMO they will fly.

IMO this is a piss easy job to stay up and he has got 2 years more on top. he really doesn't deserve this on his actual record cos the guys jumped before disaster so has the rep of the miracle worker when in fact he's gone shag all to fix any club.

Exactly this - Everton already have a decent team and were still clear of relegation zone with more than half of the season left to go.

I imagine he will be lauded as a great manager cum end of the season when he keeps Everton up.
