Been out of form lately though he's very hit or miss. He's either out for 5 or out for 90. No in between
I think its a deliberate england tactic that openers come out ultra agressive especially if batting first.
20/30 is good enough type of thing.

Move Root to open? He pretty much opens anyway as inevitable one of Hales or Roy is out in first 5 overs.
Then just shuffle rest up, Morgan at 4, Bairstow 5, Butler 6, Stokes 7, Moeen 8..
phenomenal closing 4 overs from England today then a lousy last 1. set just about a par score for the 50 overs as a result.
