Doesn't matter does it. We're over 250 ahead and prob get 300 ahead. We won't be chasing more than 100 in the game to win

I wouldn't mind being bowled with the conditions the same and get going at the Aussies again!

We're in a complete comfort zone. If the old ball is doing what it's doing, we should be ****ing laughing when they get to bat again. I doubt there'll be a declaration now <laugh>

I see Bell is back to his usual form. I'm sure he'll knock a 50 in the second innings of the next game that's all but won!
 
I would have liked a 400 lead to absolutely guarantee the win.

Fewer than 300 gives them a genuine sniff, although they'd need to get 500.

Unlikely I know but there's no need for us to have even given them that chance.
 
This is still **** from england apart from Root and Bairstow who've had good knocks, Bairstow should have made a tonne though, poor match-play not to get the 100 there

Basically without them england would be fooked... Aussies 60 all out you want to absolutely punish that and make sure they know it's properly game over

Cook played well by all accounts. 40 From an opener is better than 60 from number 5/6 in theory as against the new ball etc
 
England would be ****ed without Root, Broad and Anderson. Absolutely ****ed.

Stokes needs to start contributing more with bat and ball.

Agree. They're the only consistent talent they've got everyone else is liable to have a no-show

Let's see how many Ali and Broad can put on

Hahaha, no mate.

They've been brilliant in the day and a half of this game so far, with bat and ball.

Not even Boycott can find reason to take a pop at them ffs.
