Great County, though not enough roadsigns to stop unsuspecting motorists from driving onto an island.<grr>

Navigating the narrow sloping winding road prevented me from looking for a road sign.<whistle>

Ruffian, you've got to have some fun somewhere on these cold dark nights <laugh>

Keane just annoys me greatly. He gloried in his hard man image when Styles, Smith and Hunter would have had him for breakfast - and then demanded seconds! Plus Smith and Styles had far more skill  Apart from that it was just a mean comment delivered in a mean way to no good purpose.

However the you too have fallen into the trap of laying the blame for England's poor performance in Gerrard's back whilst ignoring the failure of the rest of the team and the lack of alternatives.

No, I haven't honestly. 100 caps is a great achievement.
The England team to a man under perform, I don't blame Gerrard personally. I will though use him as an example any time someone lazily suggests Rooney isn't a good player when he plays **** for England.

The rules you apply to Gerrard are perfect for Rooney too.

Keane could have handled himself against all those players, no sweat, and he was twice the player of all of them. At least!

Gerrard himself has said he has under performed for England and has never been able to replicate his club form for England. He has given himself a maximum of 7 out of ten for his performances. <ok>

Have to agree. Keano was a brilliant player and could stand up and beat down the majority of hard men, primarily because he's a genuine psycho.

What he said about Gerrard was spiteful and unnecessary. Classic Keane.

Keane can unfortunately for some only say what he genuinely thinks. He just cannot be diplomatic <ok>

Ok but your wrong about keane - he would be off crying for his Mummy if Smith or Styles even cam near him. You also forget that both of them started their first team careers as inside forwards. Believe me they could play!

Cork is a lovely place, especially Cork City and Middleton, and the women are something else.
