Even with thommo here we were playing crap football and we're getting outplayed week after week. Yes we picked up a surprising number of points but we were not really making any progress. Sooner or later the cracks would have appeared. We need better than the likes of cellino, Redfearn, thommo, wooton, Cani, and just about everyone else.

I agree we probably do need better than all of them, but who are you expecting? Unless Cellino goes we'll end up with the Italian version of Hockaday as head coach, another influx of Italian Serie B loans and we'll be relegation fodder again (which we would've been this season but for Redfearn/Thompson).

Even if Cellino goes I doubt it'd be Red Bull or Crowe, probably another Bates or GHF.

It's a bit naive to think that Cellino isn't involved somewhere in the back ground. Ban or no ban.<ok>

Hang on a minute! You're writing off N'Goyi after one match? After a long injury layoff? I liked what I saw on the pitch. Long way to go fitness-wise (understandably), but still managed the full 90 mins, and whilst not flawless, made very few mistakes on the ball & was 'all there' off the ball. This guy is no mug, Remember how long it took Austin & Murphy to settle into the DM position.

You also say that Cellino has signed inferior players. On what basis? He (admittedly mistakenly) signed them to play a diamond. The diamond didn't work. So we now have a jobsworth playing them on an on/off basis, without a run, and often in roles that they've never played before. For example, Antenucci is a 30yo link man. He's just been lambasted in the press by Redders because he's not 'learning' how to be a lone striker in a 4-5-1. Fecking idiot. If he owned a building firm he'd be asking 55yo joiners to be electricians & lambasting them for not learning it in 90 minutes. You couldn't make it up!

Cani? From what I've seen, he was not a good signing. But has he been given a chance? Can't be as bad as Sharp or Antenucci as a lone striker, and can't possiby have a worse scoring record than Morison, can he?

We won't sign a single loan player, Cellino won't pay the fees or wages. On that basis signing an injured player is a complete waste of time. Inferior players as in the fact we are in a worse or at best equal position to last season, take out the academy lads and we are left with players no better than last season.

I am far from happy with Redfearn, I believe he is better though than McD and who signed Redfearn after telling us he was too important to the academy? Who signed Hockaday, who signed Darko... We both agree Redfearn is out of his depth, difference is I know it is more the same next season with Cellino in charge.

There are a few fans left who still wish to believe him, they are the ones who are in for a big fall when they catch up and realise our biggest problem isn't Redfearn, it is Cellino

How do you know we won't sign a loan player? On what basis? We signed Doukara full time, didn't we? You're just guessing.
