So now it's becoming clearer and clearer pardew and Ashley aren't budging anytime soon whats everyone's new expectation for the coming season?

Personally I'm dreading it already and I'm very much seeing a relegation scrap. For those eejits who are saying we're expecting too much, I think they should let their club go through what ours has and see if theyre still smiling like that git pardew. It may seem too extreme but to me the team is worse from what we had in that hideous run last season. We've lost remy, mym, cabaye and ben arfa and I can't see we've replaced them with any sort of real quality. So if that team showed relegation form I don't know what to say about this one... I think Ashley may have pushed his sell expensive, buy cheap too far this time and I think we're finally going to see it fall to pieces.

Southampton should have been the wake up all those who hadn't seen where this was going needed!

regardless I'll back the team to the hilt but after the Hull game I think I'll be doing it from the comfort of my own home, because Ashley won't budge unless we hit his pocket.

I'm still of the same opinion generally. Its a lower mid table squad - 11th-15th sort of stamp. However maybe the ill feeling circulating will make it a relegation candidate. Either way, sacking the manager is sadly not the end of our troubles. We have poor players which is always a problem. We've bought poorly on an ill thought out transfer strategy signing players from leagues the polar opposite of our own.

This.

Once Pardew is gone the aim should go back to 10th or higher.

I don't see how it will happen, I don't think anything could get worse than the last 3 years and he's still there. I think someone should find out what the worst goals conceded/ lost to games managed ratio and still be in a job is, because I recon Pardew will be running it close

5 stars mine isn't revised I voted flirt with relegation on the original poll.

We needed 3 or 4 quality cream players on top of the biscuit base players we brought in.

Many thanks for allowing me to demonstrate me being right once again

Expectations??? I expect a bucket load of s**te to descend on our club over the next few weeks. A man on Death Row only expects one thing, a dirty great big f**ing noose to be looped over his head, with a fat Cockney c**t kicking the stool away... An absolute bunch of t**tS!!

Realistically were ****ed this season.

Hull have s vastly superior side so this Saturday the salts coming out.

none of em would stick around if we went down like last time and we'de be like Fulham with a team full of kids out of their depth

Not a chance would we go straight back up with this current crop. The last time we got relegated we had REAL leaders (Nolan, Barton, Smudger, Harper) after we got rid of the ****e. (Owen, Viduka, Martins, Geremi etc)
