The greatest, who was the last manager to leave without all the fans calling for it?

Never known such an unpopular decision (at the time) tbh.

 

Wonder how has Bassong been at Norwich. In any case, I never thought he left because he had a choice...We had to sell most of our players and Bassong was probably one of the few whom were wanted (sold for 8 million), contrast that with Alan Smith, whom probably no one wanted and we were stuck with him! If he had had an offer, I'm sure he would've left as well!

 

Bassong has started off very well, he came in after the 1st game of the season and has been there ever since, seems like a bit of a talker and an organiser which is no bad thing, for a central defender.

 

Good for you guys then! To tell you the truth, he was our best player in the season we got relegated. Him going to the spurs was totally the wrong move imo. He didn't get much love there. Hope he has a bad day against us though.

 

Really looking forward to this one, first match I've been able to get to in ages.

I'm certain he'll get a warm reception but the most I'd let him leave with is a consolation goal.
