Return of Captain Dynamo?

Steven Davis is joint 5th top scorer this season on 3 goals (according to the BBC) but, as far as I can tell, hasn't played since August.

Surely he'd give us the leadership on the pitch we have been missing as well as provide the fight to help motivate those around him.

I must admit, I never truly appreciated him before as there are far more skilful players, but we don't need anymore like those at the moment. We need a Captain.

Is it about time he was brought back into the starting 11?

This season is really getting desperate, first there are calls for SKD to be manager then for Steve Davis to come in and save our season. The scary thing is that if both these things happen it will actually improve us, who'd of thought that at the start of the season.

That we need a leader on the field is self-evident. Whether that leader is Davis is less clear. But almost certainly worth a go.

Not played since August?, he has been a regular starter and Captain of the team up until his injury last month. He is not the sole or even the main reason for our woes this season but as a senior player and supposed leader of the team he is surely more culpable than most.
