Cant wait until its out! I really want to know what players we have left so we know how many signings we need. It will be a very interesting summer with a lot of new signings.

The 1st decision though needs to be made on Clarke if they will keep him as manager. Its pointless letting Clarke decide who stays and goes if the board then sacks Clarke straight after! A decision on Clarke needs to be made within the next 48 hours. That is a must.

If Clarke is sacked, the board needs to be decisive and get a new manager in place by within 2 weeks so they can assess the players and make decisions on who he wants to stay / go.

If Clarke is not sacked (and remember Higgs has already said Clarke has a contract for next season) then decisions need to be made by the end of this week what players are being released and who is staying.

The board has made many mistakes in the last several years. Now the next lot of decisions has to be the right decisions and they need to be made ASAP. Get this wrong and there will be no coming back.

Its going to be an interesting week and an interesting summer. Expecting a lot of activity.

Harrold (has a clause to get a further 1 year extension)

I will suspect Parkes, Smith and O'Toole will get a lot of interest from football league clubs. And we dont know if any of these players have a relegation release clause in their contract mean they walk for free!!

Whoever is in charge will need to make a lot of signings throughout the summer and they will need to gel fast and hit the ground running starting the season well.
 
Gow needs to go anyway. Last thing we need is a load of sicknotes. I think Mildy, Smith, Brown and possibly Mo can stay if we can keep hold of them. The rest IMO can go. Would love to sign Disley and Steve Elliott again :)
 
Richards is out of contract and so is Gow so both may stay with us, both may leave! Dont blame them if they do though. Both could be great in the conference especially if Richards is played up front!

Gows fitness is a concern but at the level, if we can look after him then would be good for us.

I am really keen on Elliott re-joining us. He will be just what is needed. A proper leader on the pitch and he wont take the **** for the youngster who piss about. Him along side Lockyer would be a good partnership.
Disley is very tempting if he wants to come to us. As long as we dont pay silly money!

OS forum saying that Cureton is out of contract! Imagine what he could for us at that level! Not saying I want him but he would be a very useful signing.
 
Gough - keep no point in get rid of him we will only have to buy another GK

Richards - he's going to want to leave anyway but we must try and prevent this

Clarkson - give him another year

Gillespie - release

Harrold - not sure with better service he will score

Clucas - not sure

Norburn - already gone :D

Goddard - release

Brown - can't see wanting to stay

Broghammer - hope he stays but can't see it

Santos - not sure

Southway - release

Keary - release

Harding - not sure

Patterso - release

Green - who?

Woodards - great player but to injury prone need to free up some wages

The following players have been released – Fabian Broghammer, David Clarkson, Seanan Clucas, Steven Gillespie, Jordan Goddard, Conor Gough, Mitch Harding, Pat Keary, Jim Paterson, Eliot Richards, Josh Southway, Danny Woodards.

Michael Smith has been offered a contract extension, while Lee Brown and Alefe Santos have been offered new deals which are currently under discussion.

Alan Gow has been offered the chance to earn a new contract by proving his fitness during the summer.

Ellis Harrison has been placed on the transfer list by the club.

Chris Beardsley and Kaid Mohamed will return to their parent clubs following the end of their loan spells.

Anyone not mentioned is still under contract and will be staying with the club.

Everyone at Bristol Rovers wishes all those players departing the club all the best for the future.
